Ranking in the top 20 among comprehensive high schools, Viera High continues to shine. They have one of the largest dual-enrollment and advanced-placement course loads in the county, and achieve a 90 percent acceptance rate into colleges and universities around the nation. Viera High offers the Advanced Placement CapStone program.
A new addition to Viera, the community welcomed the first K-8 charter school in August 2013. The new school focuses on a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based curriculum and operates with more autonomy than traditional public schools.
Manatee Elementary School was just named a National Blue Ribbon School for 2017 by the U.S. Department of Education. Manatee is now within an elite group, as the school is just one of 12 schools in the state of Florida named to the list and the only non-choice school recognized for the honor this year.
Manatee Elementary School strives to create a nurturing environment, which empowers students to meet the challenges of the future. Manatee's educational mission designs quality-learning experiences, fostering an environment of high academic and character standards. 'A' rated school.

Ralph Williams Elementary was the first school established in Viera and earned the distinguished National Blue Ribbon Schools Program Award in 2009. Twelve schools in the state have earned this honor and only 314 schools in the nation. 'A' rated school.
